Interactive Home Tour
Semaphore
has launched an interactive and online way that electric cooperatives
can help their customers improve their home’s energy efficiency.
The EnergyWorks Home Tour brings users along on a room-by-room tour
of money-saving tips on everything from their swimming pools to
attics, home offices and bathrooms.

Agency Powers Up Two New Clients
Semaphore recently began doing project work for two southeastern
electric cooperatives.
The co-ops are the Ocmulgee Electric Membership Corporation and
the Central Alabama Electric Cooperative. Both cooperatives were
founded in 1938. Ocmulgee Electric serves communities in central
Georgia while the Alabama cooperative serves 10 counties, primarily
north of Montgomery, AL.
Healthcare, Economic Development Meetings
Semaphore staffers are hitting the road for two fall conferences.
Hilton Head Island will be home to the Southern Economic Development
Council (SEDC) November 8-11. SEDC, a non-profit organization, is
the oldest and largest regional economic development association
in North America. It has 17 member states in the South.
The Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society
(CHPRMS) will meet November 19-21 in Asheville, NC for their fall
conference. Semaphore will have a booth at the event, which celebrates
its 30th anniversary.
