The Client
York Electric Cooperative which serves portions of Cherokee, Chester, Lancaster and York Counties in the upstate of South Carolina.
The Goal
To empower and educate the co-op’s customers while strengthening the customer/cooperative relationship.
The Solutions
Semaphore revamped York's old site architecture and gave the site a whole new look. We worked with their staff and analyzed site users’ comments to better organize the content and services offered. A new navigational structure was created that is much easier to follow and is consistent throughout the site. While the site is quite large and contains lots of valuable information, it is all easy and intuitive to find. The overall look of the site is clean and presents the York Electric brand in a straightforward, recognizable manner that does not distract the user.

The Client
The Salvation Army of the South Carolina Midlands.
The Goal
Provide a pro-bono web solution for the Salvation Army's Doing the Most Good program, created to partner with local business and civic organizations and community volunteers to help as many people as possible - as effectively as possible - as a practical expression of Christian belief.
The Solutions
We analyzed the Salvation Army’s business, mission and programs to create an optimal site architecture and navigation. The new site is clean, easy to navigate and has an attractive feel that uses some of the elements from the national Salvation Army site to tie in an overall look and feel. The front provides current program information as well as multiple entry points to the important information within. The interior pages are clean and the navigation elements are straightforward enough to get the user to the information they need quickly and easily.
