Semaphore Helps Columbia Firm Go Greenville
CENTURY 21 Bob Capes Realtors of Columbia has been the number one producer for the CENTURY 21® network in the Carolinas for the past five years, and ranks 18th nationally. Recently, the firm acquired CENTURY 21 Flynn and Youngblood in Greenville, becoming the first Columbia real estate company to expand into another major South Carolina market. They turned to Semaphore for help in introducing themselves to their new home. Semaphore responded with press releases to major media outlets that resulted in media reports on the expansion. The real estate group will follow up the mass introduction to targeted letters to the leaders of important publics in the Greenville community.
Semaphore To Brand/Position South Carolina State University
Semaphore was recently awarded a state contract for development of a brand identity and positioning strategy for South Carolina State University (SCSU). In partnership with MetroMark Market Research, Inc., Semaphore will conduct a thorough quantitative and qualitative analysis of SCSU's current position with its internal and external publics. The research will serve as a guide for development of a new SCSU brand and position around which all internal and external SCSU communications will be organized. Semaphore is proud to be playing a role in the advancement of SCSU's vital mission for the future.
No Bones About It
With a complete range of diagnostic services, the orthopedics department at Laurens County Health Care System (LCHCS) offers state-of-the-art orthopedic technology right in the heart of Laurens County, SC. LCHCS turned to Semaphore to create a campaign to increase awareness of these services. With a focus on treatments for joint disorders, replacement surgery and sports medicine procedures, we developed a print and outdoor ads, as well as a TV ad, for the campaign.

Gilliam Goes on Tour
Though Semaphore President Cynthia Gilliam is a frequent performer on stage, she gave performances of a different kind last month as a SC Women's Business Center lecturer for Piedmont Technical College's celebrations of South Carolina Industry Appreciation Week. Gilliam's target message, "Marketing is everything that you do," was repeated to audiences in Greenville, Edgefield, and Newberry. It's not every month one gets to drive the Upstate and share knowledge with business leaders and individuals from around the state. Semaphore congratulates Cynthia on doing both well.
