Da Group continues Energy Tips campaign

Energy Tip

Semaphore has created three new ads for “Da Group’s” long-running Energy Tips campaign. Da Group is comprised of 12 of South Carolina’s 20 electric cooperatives, plus a Georgia co-op.

The latest ads feature the same format as previous ones, with a catchy headline and illustration, followed by a money-saving energy tip and two related tips. The tagline is “Electricity is more valuable than ever. Don’t waste it.”

The new ads make a total of 12 that have been created for the award-winning campaign. The ads have also been converted to bill inserts and radio spots.

“During a tough economy, the message of energy savings is more important than ever,” said Semaphore president Cynthia Gilliam. “Our co-op clients are continuing this campaign to save their members energy and money.”

State Credit Union launches “Generations” billboards

Generations Billboard

Generations Billboard

Keep an eye out for State Credit Union’s eye-catching outdoor campaign. Semaphore has placed billboards in 20 carefully selected locations all across the Palmetto State, right in the neighborhoods of SCU locations. Because many people choose their financial services provider based on location, the billboard campaign is an excellent way to keep SCU top of mind in the areas it serves.

Building on the “We Belong Together” theme established a couple of years ago, the big boards feature two different families who have been “Together for Generations” with the credit union.

During times of economic crisis, customers are naturally more positively drawn to messages about family, home and hearth in advertising.

Semaphore redesigns materials for Dickerson Center

Dickerson Cover

Semaphore recently freshened up the Dickerson Center for Children’s marketing materials with a new look. The center’s “main mission is to provide a healing environment that addresses the effects of child abuse.”

The agency had originally designed a logo and marketing materials for the non-profit in 2003. An update was needed to incorporate the center’s recent accreditation by the National Children’s Alliance. The National Children’s Alliance and United Way of the Midlands accreditation logos appear on the new marketing materials, which include stationery and business cards, as well as a brochure and rack card.

“Semaphore provided us with a phenomenal logo and brochure when we changed our name five years ago,” said Carol Yarborough, the center’s director. “They did not hesitate to assist our small agency again with a pro bono project despite the economic slowdown. Semaphore has once again come through with an excellent redesign and updating of our information.”

More information about the Dickerson Center and a downloadable brochure are available at www.dickersoncenter.org.
