Roc's first assignment as an advertising student at the University of South Carolina was to create an ad for a new liquid dog food called "Dog Nog." This humble (and hilarious) design was the beginning of a portfolio so deep, we just can’t list everything. Print, outdoor, brands, displays, packaging - Roc designs it all and delivers bottom line results for Semaphore clients.
He has created brands for Cogsdill Tool Products Company, The National Bank of SC, The SC Technical College System, SC State University and Historic Columbia Foundation just to name a few. Recently, he renovated the Trustus 23 year old brand.
Head of the agency's creative department, Roc joined Semaphore in 1976. His work has been recognized in local and statewide competitions as well as national forums such as PRINT magazine's Regional Design Annual and the American Association of Museums. He has lectured on Creative Strategy at USC.
