As a Semaphore writer/strategist, Todd writes copy and develops creative, marketing and public relations strategies. He has worked on projects for the Electric Cooperatives of South Carolina, Central Electric Power Cooperative, Santee Cooper’s GreenPower program, the South Carolina Power Team, Bank of York, S.C. State Credit Union, Three Rivers Behavioral Health, and Beyond Question. Before joining Semaphore, Todd was news editor/writer in Francis Marion University’s communications office.

He has also worked as an editor and writer at several South Carolina daily and weekly newspapers. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from West Virginia University. Todd is also an adjunct faculty member at WVU, where he teaches in the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism’s extended learning program.
